Opti Yacht Training

Next week we will be Optimist Yachting at the estuary. This week the year 6's were getting to grips with one of the yachts in our pool. Some have lots of sailing experience and some are sailing for the first time. I think it's fair to say there is a lot of excitement surrounding next week!

MTG Visit

A big thank you to the parents and caregivers who accompanied us to the museum today. It was a really productive morning and will provide great inspiration for some work this term utilising kowhaiwhai patterns.

Te Reo

This term we are learning how to say action verbs and use them in sentences. First of all the class used their dictionary skills to find translations for given Maori words. Then they worked in groups to match action words to corresponding pictures. Here are some photos of the latter.
